Andrew Black is a Director of Commercial Real Estate at Engel & Völkers Commercial, specializing in investment sales and commercial leasing across the San Francisco Bay Area. Since joining the firm in July 2025, he has closed over $100MM in transaction volume within his first year, quickly establishing himself as a top-producing advisor in the market.
Andrew represents private investors, family offices, and ownership groups in the acquisition and disposition of multifamily and commercial assets, in addition to advising landlords and tenants on office and retail leasing across mixed-use properties. He is known for driving pricing, sourcing off-market opportunities, and executing with speed and precision in competitive, complex transactions.
He began his career at Marcus & Millichap, where he earned National Pacesetter and Rookie of the Year honors in the firm’s San Francisco office. He later co-founded the Pacific West Advisory Group at Compass Commercial, building a strong track record advising clients on acquisitions, dispositions, and portfolio strategy throughout the Bay Area.
A graduate of UC Berkeley with a degree in Economics, Andrew was also a Division I football walk-on—bringing a disciplined, competitive edge to his brokerage practice. He is now part of the Pacific West Group at Engel & Völkers, where he continues to deliver high-level execution and real-time market insight. Based in San Francisco’s Marina District, Andrew maintains a constant pulse on local ownership and submarket dynamics, providing clients with a distinct advantage in every transaction throughout his decade of experience.
